| We have a medium security and a
minimum security prison in our parish boundaries. There are some
1800 prisoners in the medium security section and a few dozen in the
minimum section. We celebrate Mass in the medium security section
2x a week (Wednesday evening and Saturday morning). In the minimum
security prison we will start to offer Mass once a month on a Saturday
(beginning August 2007). Besides Mass we also offer Scripture Study,
RCIA, Confession and any other pastoral need that arises. We are
blessed to have many volunteers to provide service and ministry to the
inmates.
